FieldCompass comes from direct experience trying to find help, get around, stay safe, keep devices charged, and make decisions with limited time and limited margin for bad information.
Anyone can build a list. FieldCompass is being built to understand the moment when someone needs to know what to do next.
Why that changes the design
Lived experience changes the product questions. It asks whether the information is current, whether the bus route is realistic, whether the weather changes the decision, whether the person has documents, whether the place is open today, and whether the instructions are simple enough to use under stress.
